No Bruce, what this guy is talking about is the constituency of the Democratic party. Take a close look at the red/blue map at this site… http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm …and look at the areas of blue. Please look at the map before you read my commentary.
Now, after having studied the map, start in LA and go around the country with me.
In California the blues are counties in which the ultra Hollywood crybaby liberals live, then move up to the Bay Area with its bands of queers, and then north of there are the crazy tree huggers along the coast all the way up to Washington. Coming east, see Clark County, Nevada….that’s all the unions in Las Vegas. Just about all the blue areas in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado are Indian reservations and Mexicans. Big blue splotch on the Texas border is just about all Mexican.
Up and down the Mississippi delta are the indigenous blacks left over from slavery days………just about all of whom are on the dole. They love the Democrats who give them more welfare. Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan have blue pockets in areas where unions influence people’s minds.
And then we have the misguided souls in New England who’ve been shamefully influenced by the Kennedy’s, the Kerry’s and their ilk for so many years. In the New York City area is the overwhelming Jewish base hanging onto the Democrats because they know that’s who will give the greater portion of our tax dollars to Israel. Their retired tribe members all live in the blue areas of Dade and Broward counties in Florida.
I could go on but I’m sure you get the idea now. As well traveled as you are, I’m sure you knew all this already but it does help to focus on it looking at this map.
So now it’s show and tell time Bruce……..are you a Hollywood crybaby, queer, tree hugger, Indian, Mexican, black, welfare dependent, union sympathizer, Jew, or under the spell of Kennedy and Kerry? If you’re not, what in the world is a sensible bidness minded, free thinking, interesting and fun guy doing being associated with such?
Please enlighten me!

This is the original response.
What I am saying is that the Republicans have helped them selves to America without the least amount of shame. I believe that we need to be one as a nation and help those that are not as fortunate as we are. Look at the record. Republicans are the spenders and they do it without the faintest idea of how to pay for it. But the spending is to help them, to separate the haves’ from the have nots. George and his bunch do not have a plan for America, they could not give a rats ass. They want what will give them the biggest bank account when it is all over. The have lied, cheated, spent, and derailed our constitution in the name of what? If the congress had any balls at all they would run the whole lot to trial for war crimes. And don’t give me that shit about the Democrats run congress. The Republicans have their votes and all they do is protect their party. Remember what G. W. Said (oh that is George Washington not George Walker) about nation before party.
Do you really think America is safer or a better place to be then it was eight years ago?
You have to understand,, I do not care if you are republican or democrat. What I care about is am I doing all I can to support those that are also Americans who were not as lucky or fortunate as I was. I believe in people helping people, being a give not a taker, and crying when I hear the national anthem. I love America and the respect she use to have in the world. I believe in diplomacy before war. I believe in a strong country with a heart. I believe in not turning my back on Katrina Victims, I believe in doing all we can possibly do for our veterans. I believe in the God almighty and family. I do not give a hoot about blue or red states, because that is what divides us. I believe in going to a funeral for someone I did not even know to comfort the family even when they dis the person who died.
I get down on my knees every Sunday and pray for peace among men, all men, without regard to race color or creed, because I believe

If anyone is interested, you can find what appears to be almost unbiased factual information on the demographics of the Democratic Party at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_(United_States)

PS: I couldn't have said it better than Bruce did.
There are a lot of Blue areas that many of you haven't visited, so I'll lend my personal experience on two of them.
OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) said today that a significant portion of home foreclosures in Oregon (a "tree-hugger" state) are of housing developments as yet unsold; the developer needed out. The "tree-hugger" state has plenty of development, but it is directed near cities/towns. If no development were taking place, no developer would be forfeiting land in the debacle taking place in this nation. But that's just not so.
For those of you visiting this tree-hugging state (as WE do this time of year), please stick to the airports and freeways. That way you won't become hopelessly awed by the wonder that has been kept, and you can call the citizens here “tree-huggers” with impunity.
And those “misguided souls in New England” who live in Concord MA have thwarted development in their town for years. The site of the Old North Bridge (rebuilt many times), Paul Revere's Ride, and the “shot heard round the world” has been steadfastly preserved for us in this country, despite immense continued pressure of lots of money. “This country” hasn't done it; not even the state of Massachusetts. It has been the local residents of Concord, those Yankee “misguided souls in New England who’ve been shamefully influenced by the Kennedy’s, the Kerry’s and their ilk for so many years” who have preserved this as a gift to the rest of us. And most of us never even think to thank them for it. Bless them all, I say.
As for “queers ... unions ... Indian ... Mexicans ... blacks ... Jewish” noted groups, I only notice the hatred expressed (which I'm sure is denied). Yes, my personal experience has included members of those groups, so the expressed hatred is jarring. And saddening. After reading this diatribe to Bruce, I hope that each one of us will have the courage to speak up whenever we overhear a put-down of someone because he/she is “different” from us. It is too easy to remain silent. Edmund Burke told us, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good (people) to do nothing.” Please, be noisy.
