From Jon Stewart

The Daily Show was exceptional Friday after the Republican convention was over.

Watch this video - especially from 4:50 - 5:50 - it says it all.

And what that video doesn't say, this one does - in spades! especially from 3:30 on.

OK - I'll post a comment.

I think Jon Stweart is funny (very funny and worth watching everday) and I think his "analysis" is sometimes (more often than not, ok, almost always) eerily spot on. However, I don't think serious Republican followers (or serious undecideds for that matter) will consider the inclusion of his satire to be an educated argument for or against any candidate.

Nor do I think you do.

All I'm saying is that in this blog, you have a platform to discuss your opinions and to bring in some facts to support your opinions.

So get on YOUR soapbox. :)

Love, WLC.

Okay, I was lazy. But sometimes I come across things that support my beliefs more strongly that I ever could.
In these two cases specifically, there can be no substitute for the videos that clearly demonstrate 1) that McCain is no longer a 'maverick', and 2) McCain is an echo of Bush (and a pretty clear echo at that!).
I'll try to say it my way most of the time, but if someone else says it clearly and I agree - I'm more than willing to share the space!
Granted, a lot of these two videos is more humor and less factual - but the clips of McCain reversing his position over the last 8 years, and the clips of McCain this year and Bush in 2000 are just too compelling to ignore.

Thanks. I do think others (comedians included) have excellent points and excellent platforms that you can share with us. I just like your "take" to be included. :)
